God elevated (lifted up, exalted, magnified, glorified) him (his one and only Son, the Word of God, Messiah, the baby in the manger, the Lion of the tribe of Judah) to the place of highest honor (at the right hand of the Father, His proper position, His birthright) and gave him the name above all other names (Immanuel: God is with us), that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow (in humble adoration, out of respect), in heaven (all power and authority has been given to him) and on earth (to recognize that Jesus is our King) and under the earth (even the demons, the powers, the principalities of hell, and satan himself, must bow down and honor the Son of God), and every tongue declare (sing out, shout it from the roof tops, never stop stating the fact) that Jesus is Lord (Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Alpha and the Omega), to the glory (honor, credit, fame) of God the Father (He who first loved us so much that set this whole plan of salvation into motion).
“Shout His praise. Lift your voice. Never stop lifting Him higher.”
